Il caso Tresnuraghes

"This paper presents a practical application of an integrated method of archaeological-historical reading of the territory, to draw up the Municipal Urban Plan for Tresnuraghes (OR). The unusual nature of this application lies in the fact of it being distinctly aimed at drawing up an Urban Plan, in particular within the pre-established set of norms of the Sardinian Region Landscape Plan. It was consequently attempted, on the one hand, to integrate the pre-ordained methods and results based on the rules of composition of the so-called “historical-cultural structures”, as defined by the Regional Laws and the Italian Cultural Heritage Code (Codice dei Beni Culturali). On the other hand, we proposed – as stated, in an integrated form – a historical, multi-scalar and multi-temporal system of reading the territory. We therefore tried to outline a synthetic reading of the historical situation of the territory, useful not only for scientific knowledge and conservation of the individual “Assets” but, more generally speaking, for proper steering of urban and territorial planning practices towards overall protection of the landscape and, especially, of the historical value discernible in it."
