The essay proposes a rereading of Luigi Stefanini’s Social Personalism with the aim of showing how social openness finds its reasons in a perspective that recognises its centre in an I thought of as originally open to the relationship with the other man. Taking into consideration moral and theological aspects, but also the aesthetic perspective and imaginism, an attempt is made to highlight the coherences for which the thematisation of a strong identity is inseparable from the affirmation of relationality.

Abstract

The essay proposes a rereading of Luigi Stefanini’s Social Personalism with the aim of showing how social openness finds its reasons in a perspective that recognises its centre in an I thought of as originally open to the relationship with the other man. Taking into consideration moral and theological aspects, but also the aesthetic perspective and imaginism, an attempt is made to highlight the coherences for which the thematisation of a strong identity is inseparable from the affirmation of relationality.
