The Authors after a brief dcscription or irrigation plant built in the low valley of Coghinas river in Sardinia, point out the principal disadvantages found during the irrigation seasons. Particularly they examine the « on demand» sprinkler irrigation method and suggest some technical improvements to optimize thc efficioncy of the above mentioned method.
