Abstract
The author discusses, in a critic and autocritic way, if the disciplinary status of the Ancient Topography is still up-to-date; and also if it should be considered more a ‘method’ than a ‘discipline’ thanks to new experimentations and rapid applied developments, to efficient variations in the research limits, to legitimate methodological arrengements. All in a comparative manner that seems useful in this specific historic moment rich of important and copious disciplinary re-thinkings. He also askes himself what ‘Global’ Archaeology means today, about twenty years after its first definition, while riproposing its centrality in the archeological discipliny as a all. Finally, he presents, only in a theoric form, a new way in rapresenting the archeological datum on a map.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
