Images of weakly attenuating materials were obtained using an image intensified based computed tomography scanner and a tube source of X-rays. The image of a plastic material which contains an internal defect is studied thoroughly at optimum value. A reconstruction programme written in PASCAL gives the reconstruction matrix of the linear attenuation coefficients and simulates the matrix and the related tomography. The images are analyzed using the profile data showing the internal defect of the objects in order to obtain the reliable information at optimum value.

Abstract
Images of weakly attenuating materials were obtained using an image intensified based computed tomography scanner and a tube source of X-rays. The image of a plastic material which contains an internal defect is studied thoroughly at optimum value. A reconstruction programme written in PASCAL gives the reconstruction matrix of the linear attenuation coefficients and simulates the matrix and the related tomography. The images are analyzed using the profile data showing the internal defect of the objects in order to obtain the reliable information at optimum value.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
