This paper investigates the Shapley – like solution concept for a class of interval Transferable Utility cooperative games (TU – games), which is not based on linear combination of marginal contribution of the agents. The main reason for this approach is not the uniqueness of the definition, but the difficulty in interval subtraction. The idea is to consider a function similar to the TU – game potential function, whose discrete gradient is the Shapley value.

Abstract

This paper investigates the Shapley – like solution concept for a class of interval Transferable Utility cooperative games (TU – games), which is not based on linear combination of marginal contribution of the agents. The main reason for this approach is not the uniqueness of the definition, but the difficulty in interval subtraction. The idea is to consider a function similar to the TU – game potential function, whose discrete gradient is the Shapley value.
