In the period September 2002-June 2005, we used a light-trap to catch photosensitive macrolepidopterans in a woody stand of Quercus pubescens Willd. at 1250 m a.s.l. (Fonni, locality Nostra Signora de su Monte) in the Gennargentu Mountains: 217 species, including 5 Sardinian and 10 Sardinian-Corsican endemisms, were recorded. The maximum species richness was in September-October, while the maximum number of specimens was in October. We report the complete list of captured species and we provide some biogeographical considerations with the relative abundances.
