Missione archeologica tuniso-italiana a Thignica (Aïn Tounga, Tunisia). La campagna di scavo 2023. Notizia preliminare

The contribution aims to present preliminary results of the 2nd excavation cam-paign conducted as part of the Tunisian-Italian Archaeological Mission in Thignica (Aïn Tounga). The work, carried out within the Byzantine fortress, expanded the area investigated during the campaign of 2022: first, space 2 was fully uncovered, which was interpreted as a courtyard where a tabouna was identified; subsequently, moving north, another space was excavated, with flooring like that of the courtyard, which probably served as a kitchen.
