Within a complex set of national strategies, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) developed an intervention to retrain the Italian borghi. Specifically, the PNRR Borghi intervenes according to two lines of action, one of which is aimed at a total of 21 borghi on the territory. In this scenario, Sardinia is represented by Ulassai, a municipality inserted in the Ogliastra valley system and one of the rare examples of a mountain tourist vocation on a regional scale. This contribution intends to present the case study of Ulassai, taking into consideration two concepts: the effectiveness of a borgo recovery strategy only if integrated into the narrative of the attractive configuration of the Municipality in a relationship with the territory to which it belongs; the suggestive landscape’s genius loci able of attracting different types of tourists in a beautiful complex of nature, culture and art. The strategy would also meet tourism deseasonalization objectives, which, at present and consistent with the trends of contemporary tourist flows, would be implementable by appropriate governance directed towards an ecosystem strategy.

Abstract
The strategy would also meet tourism deseasonalization objectives, which, at present and consistent with the trends of contemporary tourist flows, would be implementable by appropriate governance directed towards an ecosystem strategy.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
