The children’s right to have a meaningful relationship with their parents and other significant people including grandparents and other relatives is protected by Italian family law. These relationships are very important for their psychophysical development and they represent the children’s right to be loved. The essay analyzes, in particular, the legal protection of children’s relationships in stepfamilies and in relation to the anti-covid-19 legal measures.
