The aim of this paper is, firstly, to tackle some Spanish grammatical phenomena from a contrastive perspective, marked by the search and identification of equivalent phenomena in the Czech language. It is thus expected to provide a useful tool for the task of understanding, through grammatical parsing, the reason and function of Spanish phenomena which apparently have no equivalent in Czech, which leads to consider them as difficult to be acquired. The paper also deals with some lexical difficulties which can be worked out with the mentioned contrastive approach, integrating it in any case with teaching approaches based on the L2. Finally, there is also mention of some particular pragmatic and cultural aspects of the Czech environment that may be suitable to be considered for the teaching of Spanish in this country.

Este pequeño estudio se propone en primer lugar abordar algunos fenómenos de la gramática española a partir de una óptica contrastiva, marcada por la búsqueda e identificación de fenómenos equivalentes en la lengua checa. Se espera de tal modo proporcionar una herramienta útil para la tarea de hacer comprender, mediante el análisis gramatical, la razón y función de fenómenos del español que aparentemente no tienen equivalente en checo, lo cual lleva a considerarlos como de difícil adquisición. Asimismo se presentan dificultades lexicales que pueden ser trabajadas desde la mencionada óptica contrastiva, integrándola en cualquier caso con enfoques didácticos a partir de la L2. Para finalizar, se tocan algunos aspectos pragmáticos y culturales del entorno checo que puede convenir tener presentes en la enseñanza del español en este país.
