This brief study aims at setting the basis for a «homology» between Lukács’s political and aesthetic claims, namely considering both his historical and (ideo)logical understanding. Starting from Lukács’s literary preferences – which often do not conform to the Stalinist’s aesthetic – I try to disentangle the complex links between his early works and the post 1930 production. Along this line, I identify «homologous correspondences» between the evolution of Lukács’s theoretical thought and the involution deployed by Stalin’s political plan.

Abstract
This brief study aims at setting the basis for a «homology» between Lukács’s political and aesthetic claims, namely considering both his historical and (ideo)logical understanding. Starting from Lukács’s literary preferences – which often do not conform to the Stalinist’s aesthetic – I try to disentangle the complex links between his early works and the post 1930 production. Along this line, I identify «homologous correspondences» between the evolution of Lukács’s theoretical thought and the involution deployed by Stalin’s political plan.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
