This article will translate and illustrate, for the first time in France, the classification of the different kinds of ideologies the Italian semiotician Ferruccio Rossi-Landi proposed in his 1978 study Ideologia (Marxism and Ideology), explaining how ideological production cannot be separated from linguistic and materialproductions. It will allow to bring to light an unknown point of view never refusing the Marxist contribution and also forestalling the postmodernist statements about “the end of ideologies”. Then, a practical example will be given in order to show the current viability of Rossi-Landi’s thought, still facing the real social programs and crypto-political speeches passing through catastrophist theories of society (such as P. Virilio’s).

Abstract
Virilio’s).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
