Abstract

Perception and WTP analysis are frequently employed as tool to address management practices of natural systems. Their role can be then fundamental not only as mean for managers to know users’ preferences but also since from questionnaires precious information to carry out an environmental accounting can be deduced. In particular from users’ behaviour information to perform the calculation of costs imposed to the environment to assure the enjoyment of users’ activities can be inferred. Here a synthesis of main results from the application of specifically formulated questionnaires for Portofino, Cinque Terre and Asinara is presented
