The student’s perspectives have not always been fully enhanced in the evaluation of university teaching processes, despite the fact that international literature has shown that, if properly listened to, students are able to suggest important indications for the improvement of teaching programs. The following research involved third-year university students from different degree courses, both in humanities and scientific fields. Using semi structured interviews, the researcher investigated the students’ perception on the quality of academic evaluation and acquired their point of view on the strengths and criticalities of the evaluation system. The results of this research will be discussed with the relevant degree courses coordinators to promote and increase the involvement of university students in the evaluation of the level of knowledge and skills they have acquired.
