This methodological and descriptive work highlights how the contribution of the Specialists in Adapted Physical Activity (APA) is important in an intervention composed of different skills and disciplinary approaches, and how their professional specificity can play a determining role to achieve the best results for the complete recovery of athletes with a previous lesion of the anterior cruciate ligament and for their return to the performance. It is then desirable that in the future a strong relationship will be established between physiotherapists and APA Specialists, each professional with defined and specific skills.

Abstract
This methodological and descriptive work highlights how the contribution of the Specialists in Adapted Physical Activity (APA) is important in an intervention composed of different skills and disciplinary approaches, and how their professional specificity can play a determining role to achieve the best results for the complete recovery of athletes with a previous lesion of the anterior cruciate ligament and for their return to the performance. It is then desirable that in the future a strong relationship will be established between physiotherapists and APA Specialists, each professional with defined and specific skills.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
