Ingombranti meraviglie

Bulky wonders... is an account of a not-so-recent history of some buildings in Sardinia, representation of an important effort to find new resources for a better future. These and others great buildings are still found in those areas, almost waiting for us to find them a second life. Thus, there is the story of an iron bridge and the facilities which surrounded the water regulation; a generating station which supported the activity of coal mining; an exhibition pavilion in a trade fair that would give viability to public intervention in the development of the South; a cement factory to produce portland concrete, of which there is in return an allegory that links this activity to a popular legend were the dog and the deer, butter enemies, are involved in a tireless battle.
