Abstract: The psychological counseling and coaching service “OrientAzione” of the University of Sassari is born with the aim of facilitating students university experience and working transitions. Over the years, the service has implemented different projects developing a dynamics interpretation of the vocational designing and career counselling approaches. No more as “simple” support of decisional processes and/or development of careers plans. This is in line with authors such as Lent and Brown (2008) who affirm how vocational guidance is mainly focused on analysis of choice methods of career paths, neglecting the issues of adaptation and well-being experienced in educational and working contexts. The mission of the Service has developed on the integration of two levels: 1) Supporting the choice 2) Promoting all those practices able to increase well-being, facilitating people's adaptation to their environment and increasing the level of perceived quality of life. Such integrated concept is based on the centrality of the person as the principal author of its emotional, cognitive and social system, but also as expert in the activation of resources to determine its own levels of well-being. Over the years the Service has increased the number of “nodes” of the network, reflecting on how to integrate the projects (multiagency approach), and how to spread the idea on working on constructs such as “contamination and inclusion”: doing things with them, rather than to them or for them. In this paper we present the main results of the two core's projects of the Service: 1) OrientAzione goes to school (secondary school’s students), 2) OrientAzione goes to Department (university students). This presentation is underlining a theoretical change of prospective from a pathological interpretation of crisis to a promotional one. Starting from the description of counseling stories, few important steps will be argued: a) operate considering multidisciplinary point of view in order to support people in their projects of life. b) make a good use of transversal skills (clientes and counselors). c) think in terms of complexity about services that have to deal with hard challenges.
