Over the last 20 years, interest in people's subjective and psychological well-being has grown rapidly. This contribution presents the PRIN project involving Cagliari, Enna “Kore” and Sassari Universities and based on the recent Italian validation of the Well-Being Profile scale (Marsh et al., 2020; Scalas et. al., 2023). The project aims to extend the validation sample to include schools, universities and workplaces, to carry out a systematic literature review on existing trainings to improve the dimensions of the WB-Pro and to develop and test trainings aimed at improving these dimensions. The WB-Pro consists of 48 items and measures aspects of hedonic and eudaimonic well-being across 15 dimensions. The Italian version, validated on a sample of 1451 participants (F = 910, 62.7%; age range= 18–70, M-age = 32.34, SD-age = 13.64), has already shown excellent psychometric properties and excellent results in terms of internal and construct validity. In this contribution, we will present the project and results from the administration of the WB-Pro to a larger and more heterogeneous sample to confirm its validation for adults and extend it to adolescents. The answers of 544 Sardinian adolescents (age range = 16-21; F = 46.5%; M = 53.1%) and 1305 adults (age range = 18-66; F = 71.1%; M = 25.0%) were used to test the factorial structure of the WB-Pro with ESEM and target rotation (respectively: adolescents CFI = .979; TLI = .954; RMSEA = .033; adults CFI = .980; TLI = .957; RMSEA = .034). In addition, we will present the association of the WB-Pro with constructs relevant to the adolescents and adults (i.e., self-efficacy, motivation, satisfaction, etc). The results show that the WB-Pro can be used with adolescent and adult samples, providing detailed profiles that can help practitioners develop tailored interventions to enhance school, university, and work well-being.
