During the last years, trafficking of human beings for sexual exploitation has been recognized as one of the main topics in the public and international debate about human right. Analyzing the modern scenario of social policies, and thanks to the thought of some important sociological authors, we elaborate and define our theoretical approach founded on the idea that the human person needs to be recognized as the main actor of the intervention of help. Even if the welfare State don’t seem to be able to realize this kind of social policies, it is possible to find interesting experiences of human person centered interventions in the non-profit sector. We compare the services of some organizations for immigrant women subjected to slavery and marginalization that operate in the cities of Sassari (Italy) and Valencia (Spain). Analyzing these cases we can observe that the main tendencies are oriented to promote and realize paths of empowerment and new ways of participated social inclusion.
