This study aimed to compare the elective Institute of the legislative power, the Corts, in some countries of the Crown of Aragon at the time of Alfonso the Magnanimous, through the use of information technology. Three stages have been identified and mapped which are considered as essential in the development and evolution of Digital humanities. The historical part is specifically focused on the description of the institutions involved in the analysis presented below and in the study of the Institute of the Cort. The description has gone from general to specific, beginning with the Crown of Aragon, and continuing with the States where the Parliaments in analysis were held: Principality of Catalonia and the Kingdom of Sardinia. It continues with two parts which are devoted one to the Institute of the Corts and the other to the policy of the Magnanimous. The comparative analysis focused on the institution of the Cort, considering its different moments and putting them in first place in comparison with the Parliaments of 1416 and 1421, respectively held in the Principality of Catalonia and the Kingdom of Sardinia. Secondly, some phases of the Corts held for several States in the Crown of Aragon have been used. It also explains what is meant by coding and marking up of text and proposes a solution for this case. It concludes with the presentation of the virtual place of shared knowledge and participated in historical context: WikiCorts.
