The aim of the research was to draw a more detailed network of activities carried out by the institutions involved in the spreading and teaching of the Italian language in Sardinia; trying to look more deeply both the beginning of the institutions where Italian language is taught, also the motivations that induce users to get better knowledge of our language and culture. The aim of this last part was to analyze if and how, by teaching adult immigrants, account is taken of different relevance of the primary educational goals: socialization, selfanalization and therefore which are the reasons which push immigrants learning the Italian language which are of various kinds: economic need, fleeing from dramatic situations and reunion with their families. Of significant importance, always in the context of migration, are the informations related to the various diatopic, linked to geographical factors and regarding languages, culture of their origin and that of the area of settlement. And and It is also important the various dysphasic which however shows the individual external factors which are limited to the context in which the contact occurs with L2 as the acquisition of this, by the immigrant can be spontaneous, or in a mixed or guided form. Immigrants can now use in Sardinia of various cultural iniziatives and a network of L2 educational and literacy proposals and the study of the Italian language, provided by: -public institutions -Volunteer: religious associations, social organisations, listening centers. -the world of work.
