The research project is aimed to relate the development of dry rot with the mechanisms of compartmentalization and plant defense, in particular assessing the effectiveness in assisting the defense of the hormone jasmonic acid. The phytohormone jasmonic acid is involved in the development of pollen and seeds and defending against physical, chemical and biotic stress. Its presence induces the synthesis of proteins that determine the induced systemic resistance (ISR) such as difensina (blocks the activity of cellular transport of bacteria, fungi and viruses), thionine (used as redox indicator, promotes the growth ofin vitrocultures of tissues) and chitinase (degrade the cell walls of fungi and inhibit the growth of hyphae). The object of the research are the plants of Holm oak (Quercus ilexL.) of urban tree in streets of Nuoro. The goal is to improve the knowledge on the action jasmonic acid, trying to evaluate how the hormone affects the texture of the bark of the oak and helps the plant to repair the wounds. Finally, we want to determine if the jasmonic acid influences the plant response to inoculation with a fungus agent of dry rot.Collateral to the main theme, is the census and monitoring plant pathology with the technique of Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) of the tree-lined town, the first step in a necessary and urgent renovation of the only census of green in 2001.

Abstract
Finally, we want to determine if the jasmonic acid influences the plant response to inoculation with a fungus agent of dry rot.Collateral to the main theme, is the census and monitoring plant pathology with the technique of Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) of the tree-lined town, the first step in a necessary and urgent renovation of the only census of green in 2001.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
