The research project focuses on the role of communication in the context of educational and vocational guidance.Recent studies (Sibel Akel, 2005; Balmer, Liao, 2007) have supported the role of in university settings, reporting best practice’s policies implemented in the case-studies.This perspective offers a wide insight into communication among universities despite it doesn’t take in consideration the field of guidance and its implications for communication that manages all decision-making and production processes.In order to fulfill the purpose of this research it was carried out a study of: the corporate culture, the self and perceived collective efficacy, the reflective learning, the empowering approach, the organizational communication, the strategic and relational marketing, the model of the university as a business-network professional.These models were analyzed in their applications in the guidance services in national and international field (Rome and Barcelona).This work is an action research which aims to investigate in depth the context of the case study (“Centro Orientamento” - University of Sassari) to speculate and propose an organizational change, marked by the quality of services through the improvement of communication processes.The research method is mainly qualitative and instruments that were used are interviews, focus groups and questionnaires.

Abstract
