The need to undertake a study on the public budget decision (from the point of view of constitutional law) is born in the light of the reform process that in the last few years has involved this subject.The purpose of this dissertation is to verify whether the current, national and supranational, discipline has altered the fundamental characteristics described in the set of rules based on the constitutional text of '48; specifically the study aims to assess whether the current regulatory framework is in a relationship of continuity, or not, with the previous one. The text is divided into three parts: the first describes the paradigm of the public budget decision based on art. 81 of the Constitution before the 2012 reform; in the second, the relevant euro-normative legislation in this area is analyzed; while the last part explains the national rules in force.
