We have called InformAnimation an emerging area that seeks to respond to the growing demand of information on the current scenario of global communication. We believe that a combination of skills from disciplines such as animation, design communication and journalism, can offer insights on new ways to convey the complexity typical of the information society in ways to make it more understandable and accessible. Thanks to resources from the Erasmus Programme and the Regional Government of Sardinia the animazionedesign research laboratory of the Alghero School of Architecture was able to join forces with fellow Universities (TEi Athens, UEM Madrid, Univ. of Glamorgan), authors, experts and scholars around Europe to start a vast research effort and the organization of the 2011 first edition of the InformAnimation Intensive Programme experimental teaching experience. This book is a first collection effort presenting Informanimation as a field of research as well as an area for experimentation on new education profiles.

Abstract
This book is a first collection effort presenting Informanimation as a field of research as well as an area for experimentation on new education profiles.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
