Gallura possesses an important wide coastal development produced by ria coasts in the granites basement. This littoral tract is characterized by numerous and long inlets, byoves, by short beaches, by gulfs and by rocky devides that lean out on the sea (Figure 1). Thanks to these peculiar naturalistic evidences and thanks to the landscape lines, the territory introduces a strong partner-economic development, above all tourist, and an important role for the economy of north-oriental part of the Sardinia island. In this contribution it has been analyzed the impact that the tourism has had in the reality of the district of Olbia: its implications on the demografic, territorial, economic and cultural development.
