This paper correlates geomorphological data with archaeological and historical information in order to reconstruct the coastline evolution of the coastline in space and over time but also develop a knowledge of the evolutionary model that has affected the sandy shores of the Gulf of Asinara. Numerous data from archaeological evidence, literary sources and geomorphological data have highlighted the particular complexity of the coastline allowing to track changes in the shoreline and the coastline.
