In the last years, the faunal remains from many sites of the Piceni have been studied. Domestic animals prevail, but hunting was still important in some sites. Fishing and molluscs collecting had importance in some village on the coast.
Negli ultimi anni sono stati studiati i resti faunistici provenienti da molti insediamenti piceni. Prevalgono gli animali domestici, ma la caccia ha ancora una notevole importanza in qualche sito. Nei villaggi costieri erano praticata la pesca e la raccolta di molluschi.
