The study of the toxin genes pattern was performed on 66 B. cereus group strains isolated from ricotta cheese samples collected in 11 industrial dairies. All strains were identified by using Vitek system (bioMérieux, France). They were analysed by PCR for hbl and nhe operons genes, and cerA, cerB, ces, bceT and cytK. HBL and NHE production was also tested by using RPLA and ELISA kit. All hbl and nhe genes were found in 17 (25,8%) and 22 (33,3%) of isolates. PCR techniques showed the presence of cerA in 62 (93,9%), cerB in 32 (48,5%) and bceT in 58 (87,9%) of the strains. The genes cytK and ces were found in 12 (18,2%) and 8 (12,1%) strains. HBL and NHE production was also detected in 30 (45,5%) and 60 (91%) of the strains.
