We took into consideration two opposing hilly sides, one of which is exposed to SSE with several declining or already dead plants, the other one is exposed to NNW with plants in good healthy conditions. From a topoclimatic point of view, significant differences between the two sides and drought conditions more accentuated at the declining side were pointed out. With regard to endophytic communities, in the declining side a higher incidence of pathogenic species associated with a lower occurrence of potential antagonistic species were recognised.

Abstract
Topoclimates and endophytic fungal communities in a mixed wood of cork oak and holm oak trees showing decline symptoms are being characterized. With regard to endophytic communities, in the declining side a higher incidence of pathogenic species associated with a lower occurrence of potential antagonistic species were recognised.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
