Huts 12, 13 and 14 from the Nuragic Village of Santu Antine (Torralba, Sassari) Excavations carried out in 2003–2004 in the village surrounding the Nuraghe Santu Antine investigated an area of approximately 500 m² on the western side of the bastion. Two main phases of occupation were identified and excavated: the first dates to the later Nuragic period, while the second belongs to the historical period. Among the three Nuragic huts investigated (Huts 12, 13 and 14), Hut 12 is the best preserved and provides valuable evidence for the original internal organization of the living space. The area between the huts and the nuraghe was carefully levelled and paved with stone slabs, indicating deliberate planning and maintenance not only of the buildings themselves but also of the surrounding open spaces, at least in the sector adjacent to the nuraghe. Preliminary analysis of the archaeological finds suggests that the occupation of these structures can be assigned to a late phase of the Nuragic period.
