Today the ways in which urban regeneration and development planning is tackled are an important aspect to reflect on to manage a sustainable urban growth scenario. In this perspective, Urban Agendas are conceived to provide guidance for forthcoming urban policies that seek to introduce innovation in spatial planning and society in compliance with the criteria and SDGs. This paper presents the Terramaini green wedge integrated project as a modus operandi of the Agenda for the Sustainable Development of the Metropolitan City of Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy), to be understood as groupings of interconnected interventions, consistent with SDGs, that act at a multi-scalar level with the aim to plan the connectivity of the metropolitan sustainable infrastructure. Starting from the demand for ecosystem services, a network of nodes and connections allows to improve the accessibility, functionality and usability of services and public spaces and, at the same time, support environmentally oriented actions through NBS. Metropolitan City – based monitoring targets and indicators are identified to measure progress and compare policies and interventions and, at the same time, to guide plans, programs and projects on EU structural and investment funds related to sustainable development. To summarise, this strategic approach favours three conditions: 1. to territorialise SD strategies, goals and indicators on a metropolitan basis; 2. to translate the principles of sustainability into uniform and shared guidelines to be included in the implementation and planning tools. 3. to direct planning and programming on funding channels focused on SDGs.

Abstract
3. to direct planning and programming on funding channels focused on SDGs.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
