This chapter is principally focused on technical strategies for placement and fixation of plastic tubes, taking into account not only the dose distribution criteria (route, geometry, number of tubes, as well as the type of delivery, which can be interstitial, intracavitary, or combined) but also the functional and cosmetic results. These techniques derive from the multidisciplinary collaboration between the radiation oncologist and the nose surgeon with experience in IRT.
