The Trame project, proposed by the team of the University of Sassari, is a kinetic stone surface inspired by the carpets and typical weavings of Sardinian craftsman- ship. Generated from a conceptual design, this stone “fabric” represents the fusion of tradition and innovation: the traditional Sardinian weaving, reinterpreted with an equally classic material like Orosei mar- ble, materializes in the digital creation of a kinetic wall that undulates like a drapery.
