Since the coding of perspective, there are many design solutions where "solid perspectives" and "optical corrections" are used to correct visual perception of spaces. Some applications are in urban areas, such as Piazza del Campidoglio by Michelangelo (1538) or Piazza San Pietro by Bernini (1629-57), others are in courtyards or small outdoor spaces, such as the Perspective Gallery of Palazzo Spada by Borromini (1652-53), and in theatrical scenic spaces, like the Olimpic Theatre in Vicenza by Palladio (1580-85). Today "solid perspectives" and "optical corrections" of spaces are used in "graphic & architectural design", where "Projection Design", "Exhibit Design" and "Graphic Design" also converge. This paper makes us reflect on the possible future developments of "solidperspectives" and "optical corrections" of spaces, and it assesses whether they will be limited to the field of ephemeral design or will also be part of more lasting solutions over time.

Abstract
This paper makes us reflect on the possible future developments of "solidperspectives" and "optical corrections" of spaces, and it assesses whether they will be limited to the field of ephemeral design or will also be part of more lasting solutions over time.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
