The International Conference on Nonlinear Solid Mechanics (ICoNSoM) 2019, held in Rome from June 16th through 19th of 2019, had as its main goal to gather together researchers in the field of nonlinear Solid Mechanics in a stimulating research environment. This work accounts for the plenary lectures held during the conference.
