The Mediterranean territories possess a rich and widespread social and relational capital that can trigger new strategic visions of local development within a global perspective. The environmental and urban regeneration of fragile, and therefore vulnerable, spaces illustrate the need for cooperation strategies that can produce “connective intelligence”. This is based on the creation of cooperative learning networks between institutions, universities, social groups and private actors: these entities would have to focus on education, intercultural exchange, and generative elements in order to build a new future for the territory.

Abstract
The Mediterranean territories possess a rich and widespread social and relational capital that can trigger new strategic visions of local development within a global perspective. The environmental and urban regeneration of fragile, and therefore vulnerable, spaces illustrate the need for cooperation strategies that can produce “connective intelligence”. This is based on the creation of cooperative learning networks between institutions, universities, social groups and private actors: these entities would have to focus on education, intercultural exchange, and generative elements in order to build a new future for the territory.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
