The autograph paper 53v of the manuscript 5781 = Q 87 from the Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid transcribes the texts of some documents wich have been found in Càller in Sardinia and communicated to Agustín by an unknown correspondent. The short collection, totally ignored by Rodrigo Baeza’s PanegyricusCaralis (1551), has probably been dismembered in the years following immediatly its discovery and then partially recomposed just at the end of the xix century. Here we try to reconstruct the context of discovery of the collection, the identity of the correspondent of Agustín, the vicissitudes of each piece and their interest for the reconstruction of the socio-cultural frame of Roman Karales
La carta autografa 53v del manoscritto 5781 = Q 87 della Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid, riporta i testi di alcuni documenti rinvenuti a Càller in Sardegna e comunicati ad Agustín da un ignoto corrispondente. La breve raccolta, totalmente ignorata dal Panegyricus Caralis di Rodrigo Baeza (1551), fu smembrata probabilmente già negli anni seguenti il suo ritrovamento per poi essere parzialmente ricomposta solo alla fine del xix secolo. In questa sede si cerca di ricostruire il contesto di rinvenimento della raccolta, l’identità del corrispondente di Agustín, le vicissitudini dei singoli pezzi e il loro interesse per la ricostruzione del tessuto socio-culturale della Kalares romana.
