Sport is a relevant element of the reasons for traveling, representing an indispensable part of the tourist experience due to its healthy, playful and recreational characteristics. Sports tourism can creatively combine the physical experience with the natural and cultural heritage of a territory and with the concept of travel and accommodation. Furthermore, the bicycle as a mode of transportation in general, and in particular in the tourism sector, is particularly suitable for tourists who want to travel freely and also for those who want to visit peripheral areas, maybe outside the usual touristic circuits. Within this context, a preliminary study performed by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sassari in close collaboration with the Asinara National Park aims to identify, promote and connect all the natural resources, landscape, socio-economic, ethnographic, historical and cultural of high landscape and naturalistic value of the vast area of the Asinara National Park, which includes the municipalities of Stintino, Porto Torres, Sassari, Sorso, Sennori and Castelsardo. The study intends to define and propose some sports routes through a participatory and shared governance, favoring slow and sustainable tourism, also through the use of new digital technologies.

Abstract
The study intends to define and propose some sports routes through a participatory and shared governance, favoring slow and sustainable tourism, also through the use of new digital technologies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
