One of the phenomena that characterizes nuragic Sardinia is the accumulation of metal artifacts in the votive deposits of sacred areas. In the sanctuaries the finding of artifacts, hoards and votive deposits (i.e. stipi) indicates the existence of religious rituals that provided for the offering, exposure and subsequent hoarding of donations. Among the numerous objects offered to the deity are almost always present complete or fragmented weapons otherwise deposited as amulets and pendants, indicating their particular symbolic value. We believe that the presence of warriors that amount to 42% of bronze human figurines, confirm the link between weapons and sacred sphere. The intervention aims to analyze the phenomenon of weapons’ supply and representation s, taking into consideration not only the typological aspects of the artifacts, but also their recurrence and association, and the spatial distribution of offerings and votive deposits within the sacred areas.
