The recent discoveries in Phoenician and Punic archaeology of Sardinia, allow us give an update on the most ancient phoenician presence in the island and on Carthaginian hegemony. It discusses the urban forms of the oldest settlements and are presented unpublished materials from Sulky, Monte Sirai and from the punic necropolis of Tuvixeddu (Cagliari), related to a time span of VIII-II centuries BC.
