The electrophoretic peculiarity of haemoglobin have been studied on 100 sheep and 100 goats of Sardinian-breed. With our technique it has been possible to observe only one type of Hb in sheep (this Hb migrates towards the anode with the same speed of goats' HbB) while four types in goats, two formed by a single band and the other two constituted by two associated bands, respectively indicated as HbA, HbB, HbAB and Hb(AB)1. The results have been discussed in connection with the previous bibliography.
