Abstract

The present invention relates to polymeric nanoparticles for the combined administration a number of substances of natural origin for the treatment of prostate cancer. Specifically, the present invention relates to nanoparticles based on a blend of poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) and a poly(D,L-lactic-co-glycolic acid)-poly(ethylene glycol) loaded with suitable amounts of resveratrol and celastrol. The invention also relates to the preparation of said polymeric nanoparticles loaded with resveratrol and celastrol and to their use for conveying said active substances in the treatment of prostate cancer.
