The murder of don Manuel Gómez de los Cobos, 4th Marquis of Camarasa and Viceroy of the Kingdom of Sardinia, was the act of bloodshed which mainly marked both the last years of Felipe IV’s reign and the first years of regency of his second spouse, Mariana de Austria. Abstract
The latter were characterized by a climate of social and political instability. Through the numerous preserved sources, in this work we present the role played by each of the individuals involved focusing our attention on the figure recognised as the Camarasa conspiracy’s primary culprit: Francisca Zatrillas, Countess of Cuglieri and Marchioness of Sietefuentes.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
